As for me I am still keeping busy with my photography activities & projects.

In photography there are always scenes where the use of filters are essential when attempting to capture them. The scenes I am referring would most likely involve water flowing , creating motion blur , moving clouds especially when captured on a day with great light.

I had been using the NiSi S5 Filter Holder system & NiSi’s 150mm filters for a while now with my Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 lens when creating & capturing the scenes mentioned above. I had brought the system to many countries (even those with extreme weather conditions) and NiSi products had always performed flawlessly.

Thanks to NiSi & NiSi Singapore for providing me with the latest NiSi S6 Filter Holder system which is the latest 150mm filter holder & can be used for all the different ultra wide zoom lenses from my Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 to Sony’s 12-24mm f/2.8 GM.

Over the next few weeks , I will be sharing how the S6 has improved over the previous 150mm filter holder systems and to start it off here’s an unboxing video created by yours truly in the spur of the moment 😛. Totally unscripted & amateurishly put together so my apologies in advance ....... note the S6 Filter Holder’s performance will definitely be better then my performance in this clip ...... how do I 🙂 more ?

From this unboxing , the most noticeable improvements are the
- addition of matting layer which helps prevent ghosting , flare & light leak.
- integrated locking system which is way faster & easier to use than the S5
